Thesis Update

I will be leaving in one week for Rwanda to do my in-field research for my Master’s Thesis!

I have created an animation to teach local healthcare workers how to preform a mini-laparotomy tubal ligation procedure under local anesthesia. I will be traveling to the field site to observe a tubal ligation training at which they will be using my animation to train. I will be assessing the trainees to determine the impact of the animation on the learning of the participants and gathering direct feedback from them.

Here are a couple screen shots from the animation, which will be posted after I get back!
